Enjoying a cool beverage in a hot town

We went to Vegas this weekend for a quick vacation.
I am the ringmaster!!

The best game in town is free: Ringmaster at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. The object is to swing a ring hanging on some fishing line on to a hook on the wall. It's much harder than it looks. Molli and I squared off and it took me about 3 minutes ring the hook and win the right to pick where we went to dinner:

I picked Cannalettos in St. Marks Square at the Venetian, an "outdoor" cafe where we had a great view of the accordian/violin group the whole time. Good times. But we were sure glad to get home and hang out again with this guy:

Don't miss our buddies Matt Welch and Tim Blair's online coverage of the RNC this week over at Here's a picture of Tim and I from when he was in town a couple weeks ago:
Me and Tim aka Joe

Tim's from Australia, which is cool. I made him my famous white wine chicken and then we talked about how silly socialism is. It was fun.

Sean at the Beach

Above is Sean at the beach in Manhattan today. Bellow is my beautiful wife on our date last night.

Sweet Molli

We went to dinner and then Molli let me take her to see "The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi." It was awesome!
