Check out Molli's post about the "Bring the Baby" matinee at the Los Feliz 3 movie theater. What she doesn't mention is that the whole idea for this came up in their mom's group. They decided that a theater should have a special showing for moms where they turn the volume down to a more baby-friendly level and the mom's can nurse and enjoy a movie on the big screen without worries. They called the theater to suggest it, and the manager agreed to try it. By the second time (they're doing it every second Wednesday) attendance doubled, strictly on word of mouth. Now the theater says they're going to advertise, and it looks like it's going to be very successful. Good work moms!!

New Sneakers!!

Sean got some new sneakers, and he really seems to like them. Bellow, you can see that though he is surrounded by fun toys, sometimes Sean prefers to play with the toybox lid.

I love my lid!!

Sean and Grandpa

We took Sean for his six month checkup today and I'm happy to report that everything went well. He's officially 18 and 1/4 pounds and 27 and 1/2 inches tall. That's pretty big, but he feels a lot bigger to me.

Cowboy Sean

We took Sean on his first big road trip this weekend up to Los Altos and San Francisco. Sean was a champ and he got to meet and visit with many new and old friends. First stop was Karen's house:

Sean and Karen

The next morning we made the obligatory stop at Hobee's for their deliscious coffee cake and spiced tea. That's Karen with Sean, KrisP, and Molli with Sophia:

I Heart Hobee's

Then it was on to the Taylor's where we met 8 month old Jeffery:
